Facial Reflexology Bergman Method - New treatment!
I have recently been studying Facial Reflexology Bergman Method, and I can now offer a full treatment which would fit into an hour's appointment, or a shorter treatment, which can be added on to a full Foot Reflexology or Reiki appointment.
Facial Reflexology can support clients suffering with migraines, bruxism, bells palsy, sinus congestion, insomnia and anxiety. This relaxing and gentle treatment can also help to release emotions and tension held in the face, reduce stress, and lift the mood.
I am also very excited to announce later this year I will be offering Zone Face Lift.
Keep an eye on my Instagram and Facebook pages for announcements.
I trained at the London School of Reflexology under Louise Keet, Britain’s leading Reflexology Practitioner, and then took further courses in Preconception, Pregnancy and Post Natal Care Reflexology, Spinal Reflexology (based on stimulating the spinal nerve root reflexes on the feet), and Reflexology Protocols (now called ‘Power Reflexology’, a refined technique to allow for a more consolidated treatment, linking body systems and chakras, or energy centres).
More recently I have studied Mindful Reflexology which focused on supporting clients living with Stress, Anxiety and Depression.
So whether you just need some time for yourself and to relax or have more specific problems such as sleep problems, hormonal imbalances, migraines, IBS or stress and anxiety, I would like to help.
For more information please see my Reflexology page.
Last year I became attuned to Reiki 2 so that I can share this energy and support others.
It is a tradition that is open to any belief system, and the practice is taught by Reiki masters /teachers who have trained in the tradition passed on, in person, from master to student. This Reiki lineage can be traced back to the founder of Reiki, Dr Mikao Usui.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes natural balance in the body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. For more information, including what to expect from a treatment, see my Reiki page.
A little bit about me.
When I first discovered Reflexology and Reiki, over 10 years ago, I was working in an office in Central London and putting in long hours. I was suffering with fertility problems, and was generally very stressed.
I started to try various holistic therapies as well as seeking medical help. The main therapies I tried were Accupuncture and Reflexology, which were fantastic for helping me to ease my stress. The whole experience completely changed my mindset and I was fascinated by the therapies. I decided to study Reflexology and so attended a course which ran at the weekends. Despite the fact that I was working and studying I felt more relaxed and positive than I had in some time. I loved learning about it and I realised that I wanted to become a Reflexologist.
It was also around this time that I learnt Reiki as a way of healing and supporting myself emotionally and spiritually. Reflexology and Reiki completely changed my life.
My lifestyle changes must have paid off because as I finished that first Reflexology course, and just as I was advised that we were being put on the IVF register, I discovered that I was pregnant with my first child.
Last year I decided to further my studies in Reiki so that I could offer this amazing treatment to clients.
During lockdown I have completed the courses in Facial Reflexology Bergman Method, which I am very excited about. This is an amazing treatment, extremely relaxing.
Later this year I will be studying the Zone Face Lift, which has been written about in Harpers Bazzar and Vogue - Watch this space!
